While many people come here in order to shop for the lastest garments, a wide range of other products are also on offer, while simply strolling along bustling shopping streets is an uplifting experience.

NightlifeMilan is awash with vibrant bars and cafes, which are great places to soak up the city’s nightlife scene. As the evening goes on, people move on from these relatively chilled out venues to drink and dance the night away in colourful cocktail bars and clubs. The Brera quarter is Milan’s most popular entertainment area, while the Navigli neighbourhood is also a great place to let your hair down after dark.

Watch a football matchMilan is also the city of football, and those who have a passion for the beautiful game will be able to gather to watch AC Milan or FC Internazionale battle it out on the pitch.

FestivalsMilan is a city that really knows how to party, and a large number of vibrant festivals are held here throughout the year. One of the most popular is the Festa del Naviglio, which is held in early June and features a collection of outstanding music performances and parades, while the Milan Jazz Festival in November attracts jazz lovers from all over the globe.

Eating OutThe people of Italy are famed for their love of food, and those who live in Milan are no exception. The city offers an incredible selection of excellent Italian eateries, while diners who want to try something a little bit different will also be able to take their pick from dishes that hail from all around the world. Whatever you choose to eat, you can be sure that your food will be served with characteristic Italian flair, and eating out is usually a leisurely affair that is meant to be savoured.
