The AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has suggested that the match against Catania will be extremely important for the team. He has said that this match is even more important than the last weekend’s encounter with Juventus. The 1-0 win over Juventus has given AC Milan a lot of confidence ahead of this match. A lot of the AC Milan players have been speaking about the confidence of being able to qualify for the Champions League next season. The team is currently in the 10th position, with Catania one point ahead of them in the table.
The AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani recently said that the manager Massimiliano Allegri will remain at the club at least in the end of the season. He was speaking after the 1-0 win over Juventus that helped the club get into the top half of the table for the first time this season. However, the hard work done against Juventus will not matter if the club did not get a victory against Catania according to the manager. The AC Milan goalkeeper recently Amelia said that Allegri was the best man for the job because he has finally found a formation that has suited players, as they dominated against the champions Juventus during the weekend.
“I think it will be a very tough match tomorrow (Friday), because we will be facing Catania and they are very strong at home, almost all the points they have taken have come from their home games.
