Former AC Milan CEO Marco Fassone has revealed that the club had made contact with Cristiano Ronaldo regarding a move to the Rossoneri last summer. The Portugal international parted ways with Real Madrid after nine seasons last year and he has since joined Juventus, where he has been a success with 28 goals during his debut campaign.
Speaking to Sportitalia, Fassone revealed that the Rossoneri had sought to make a potential move for Ronaldo last summer and the player himself was open to the idea of joining the club.
