Filippo Inzaghi has requested the club to have patience in his coaching methods,

AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi, who is on the verge of being sacked, has requested the club to have patience in his coaching methods, which he believes have already paid rich dividends in terms of style of play. Milan have once again endured a very disappointing campaign and will be finishing outside the European spots. It has been a couple of years since the club were seen in the Champions League. They will not have any hope of being even in the Europa League for the time being. Inzaghi was appointed by owner Silvio Berlusconi, who has had to take a lot of criticism from the supporters.

He is expected to react to a poor campaign by parting company with Inzaghi. Media speculation has linked Milan with a move for Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is set to face the sack after a season without any major end of season honours. Despite having won the Champions League only 12 months ago, Ancelotti could be available. The former manager still lives in the Milan history after having led the club to league titles and two Champions League crowns as well. Inzaghi, though, says that the team is finally showing signs of reacting to his methods. The manager was speaking after the club secured a victory over Atlanta on the final day. Ac.Milan is believed to be on the verge of switching ownership

The Italian side Ac.Milan is believed to be on the verge of switching ownership as Silvio Berlusconi is rumored to be thinking about selling a stake of his club. The Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol is interested in acquiring a majority stake of Ac.Milan with offers being launched in the past few weeks.

According to goal.com, a deal has already been discussed and Bee Taechaubol will be acquiring 20% stake of the club for a price of €195 million but that stake will increase in the next few months until the Thai businessman turns into 65% share.

Barbara Berlusconi is the CEO of Ac.Milan and she is expected to remain in charge in her current position as no changes will be made in this matter. However, the same cannot be said concerning the head coach FilippoInzaghi as his future might be reaching it’s end depending if whether or not the new owner wants to continue having Inzaghi in charge of the team.

There have been concerns regarding Silvio Berlusconi as fans of Ac.Milan are starting to believe that the billionaire has lost his passion for the Italian club as he has not given the team enough funds to properly compete in the Serie A and other top European competitions. Adriano Galliani feels Club will soon Dominate Italian First Flight

Adriano Galliani, one of the chief decision makers at AC Milan, feels the club would start dominating the Italian first flight again in near future.

The Rossoneri have not played consistent Football for quite a while. The board has tried everything to get the team back on track, but, none of the efforts has paid off.

There were high hopes with Filippo Inzaghi as manager. But, he has not had that much of an affect either.

Milan’s main problem has been their inability to build on a win. They just don’t seem to be able to carry the winning momentum on.

After winning a game or two, they happen to have a couple of poor games and that ruins everything.

The consistency factor is not there is the current bunch of players that the team possesses. Continue reading Adriano Galliani feels Club will soon Dominate Italian First Flight

Fernando Torres will return to Athletic Madrid

It has already been confirmed and announced to the public that Fernando Torres will be making a return to Athletic Madrid on a 2 year long loan deal and Alessio Cerci is expected to join Ac.Milan as part of the deal but the coach of Ac.Milan, Filippo Inzaghi has now announced that Alessio Cerci is not the only player that he wants to sign during the winter transfer window as he has more players which he has a desire to add to his team.

Rumors are linking Ac.Milan to a move with Fiorentina’s Manuel Pasqual. Pasqual is a 32 years old wing-back who has a contract with Fiorentina that is reaching its end in a few months and Inzaghi is believed to be interested in adding to his team at San Siro.

Keisuke Honda is one of the players that has been standout for Ac.Milan in this season as the Japanese player has helped Ac.Milan on securing crucial points in their campaign and Honda is going to be helping Japan in the Asian Cup which leaves an empty spot in the position of Honda when he makes his trip to Asia in a few months. Inzaghi wants to sign a player that can fill in the spot of Keisuke Honda when he leaves to Asia.

As.Roma’s Mattia Destro is a young forward who has already showcased his abilities not only for As.Roma but also for his country, Italy and has turned into a promising player for the upcoming years. Filippo Inzaghi is interested in signing Mattia Destro but it will be fairly difficult to sign as he has a price tag of around €20 million, which is a steep price for Ac.Milan and in order to sign him they might have to sell some of their own players as a way to create enough funds.

AC Milan fans unhappy with Torres

The fans of AC Milan might have been getting a little impatient with the on-loan striker Fernando Torres, but, Filippo Inzaghi, the manager of the team, believes that the Spaniard would be able to get in form eventually.

Torres’ parent club Chelsea has placed him on loan to Milan for a couple of seasons.

The 30-year old has already made 8 appearances for the Rossoneri, but, has failed to shake the net more than once.

The fans want him to be dropped, but, Inzaghi, the other day, made it clear that he was willing to give Torres a bit more time to find his feet in Italy.

Talking to the reporters, Inzaghi said, “I back Fernando. We always knew he would be rusty to start with as he had not been active that much in the recent months.  There is no point getting impatient. It’s about playing him as much as possible and giving him the much needed match practice. He would start striking sooner or later.”

When asked about the unhappiness of the fans after that Palermo loss, the 41-year old Italian said, “As I told you earlier, patience is needed. We were never going to be leading the table. We are an emerging unit. There would be off days, but, the important thing is that the boys were fully committed. There was no sign of recklessness.”

“If we keep trying hard, the results would go in our favour. There are positive vibes in the camp. We are all hopeful. More than half of the season is still there.”

Milan’s current position in the Italian first division table is 7th. The margin between them and the table toppers Juventus is of 9 points. All the teams have played 10 matches so far.
