SEEDORF AIMING HIGHER

The manager of AC Milan, Clarence Seedorf, doesn’t know at which position his team is placed in the Serie A points table. He says he doesn’t have a look at the table and he won’t have a look at it until the ongoing season gets over.

As per the Dutchman, rather than viewing the points table, it’s important for him to think about the next game. He reckons if you are consistently performing well, you don’t need to worry about your position in the points table because it will take care of itself.

Speaking to the press yesterday, Seedorf said, “As I have said before, there is no point viewing the points table all the time. Your focus should be on the next match that you have to play.”

When asked if he is sufficient with the way his boys played against Catania, the Rossoneri boss said, “Yes, I would say so. We didn’t win by a big margin, but, that’s because they were playing defensive sort of football. Their intention was just to stop us from scoring. However, they deserve credit for their fighting spirit.”

AC Milan’s performance under Seedorf of late has been really appreciable. They have won their last 4 matches on the bounce and have climbed up to the 8th position in the Serie A points table. If they continue playing like this, they might end up making it to the Europa League. They are odds-on to make it according to the latest football betting odds.

If Milan manages to qualify for Europe, it would be a miraculous achievement for them considering the way they had started the ongoing season.

The next league game that Milan has to play is against Livorno. That game will take place on 19th of April at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza which is the home ground of the Rossoneri.
